A Look at the Laptop Manufacturers

Sunday, February 7th, 2010

There are so many computer manufacturers in this day and age that it’s difficult to figure out which one is good. Luckily, I’ve done all the research for you and can tell you.

Dell has been the leader in business laptops but their market share has declined in recent years. The new laptops are pretty slick though so it’s definitely work a look but the quality is only okay.

Apple makes sleek looking products and they look the nicest hands down. Their prices are quite a bit higher though so you may want to seriously think about it before you jump on board.

The laptops from gateway is just not that great. Many have experienced quality issues and the price isn’t awesome to begin with. If you find an once in a lifetime sale, then go ahead but don’t get it at normal price.

The Acer laptops in North America are coming together too. The specs are good for the price, the size is right and the design is decent. It’s an asian manufacturer but who cares right?

With Microsoft really cracking down on software piracy and coming up with extremely clever ways to stop everyone from copying Windows, many people are slowly not buying eMachines anymore.

Sony can really corner the market with a complete solution since they have the gaming console, laptop and electronics like TVs. If they can only come up with clever software solutions, they will be really good.

Check out the HP laptops because they are solid and have good quality and warranty service. If you like the performance of a particular model, I wouldn’t hesitate to just buy it.

If you don’t mind the black boring look, Lenovo laptops are actually a pretty good option. Check out their systems and you might be surprised at the specs of those laptops.

Nokia has a netbook so it’s technically a player in the field. You know their cell phone technology is unbeatable and their design is good too.

Everyone can use an Expedia coupon even if it’s not the holiday season right now.

How to Fix Computer Errors with Error Doctor Repair Software

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

If your computer has started to slow down and bombard you with a seemingly endless barrage of error messages try not to panic! There are a variety of programs out there which can scan your PC for free and eliminate these problems, which in turn will make your computer run faster.

Error Doctor is one of these programs, and it offers a free trial. Oftentimes, people unknowingly acquire spyware and adware programs on their PC while browsing the internet, and these programs are what makes computers slow down. Malicious spyware invades your computer in an attempt to find out your password, email, and credit card information. And adware, although harmless, follows what you do on your computer in an attempt to help companies find ways to advertise their products to you.

With these programs sneakily running themselves in the background your computer’s processing speed can really take a hit, but you can fix this by cleaning out your system. You will want to find a program that is easy to use, offers a free trial download or scan and is recommended by trusted sites.

Here is what Error Doctor does:

1. First thing’s first: download the Error Doctor program from the official website, or another download site; follow the simple directions that pop up on your screen.

2. Error Doctor can back up your files before it sets to work. The back up can restore your computer if there are any serious problems after the program runs. It’s always smart to make a back-up before clearing any files or information from your computer.

3. Now, the Error Doctor software will scan your computer and find all those annoying spyware and adware programs and list them for you to see.

4. You can pick out specific spyware or adware files from your list, or select all of them as a group. If you decide you want the program to fix the errors it finds, you’ll be asked to purchase a full license key.

If you are having problems with your computer and want it to run faster (like it did when you first bought it), then you may want to look into Error Doctor or one of the other widely available registry cleaners on the market today.
